this post is actually just for myself !
but I shall be nice and post it cause ~~I think theres~~ some interesting stuff here. Haha

what I learnt at the last camp. Abt kids. And well..some other stuff too.

Oh! First…you gotta know ALL your fellow teacher’s name. cant be calling them OEI or AYE in front of the kids. Yea?

Children room prep

And yes! The children room! Please! Make it as pretty and handsome as you can. BUT! Not at the expense of the kid’s attention. You dun wanna have things that would distract the kids. not things like streamers at stage that would block the kid’s view or sth. Be careful with balloons. They are time bombs that might burst anytime. oh! And have stuff like “smiley” balloons. Its kinna cool cause it POPs up the atmosphere. Try as much as possible to use bright colours.! Red orange light blue light green pink and all… Oh! Long sculpture balloons are good too cause well..you can make anything outta them. If you are good that is. Well..for simple stuff…can make letters and words! Right? (oh!! on a side note! these balloons are good to cause if there are skits....the balloons can make great impromptu props =P ) The stage has to be well deco-ed but not too fancy. If its too plain..their attention WILL drift. For such… Masking tape and double sided tapes are a MUST. Yes?

Ah yes! The floor! Marking the “territories” of the groups is a really good idea. Not just having a tag naming “ handsome people” there but have a rectangle place for them to actually sit in. haha. this way..the lines will ~~always~~ most of the time be straight. But that being said. Have enough space for the WHOLE group to sit. If its too short..some kids will have to sit outside the marking. If its too long…the kids will all “repel” each other. Too thin and the kids would have to squeeze! Well..too fat and you’ll have kids sitting in twos instead of the desired 1 line. =S ~~KIDS!!~~ AwW! Cute things!. Also, have a “river” in between 2-4 groups so that a teacher can walk in the middle. If you dun have that…you will find it almost impossible to reach the middle kids if they start their funny business ( fighting.. for example ).

PnW

Ah! Yes! This is the part where I can go Choo-ee choo-ee coo-ee ohm ba ba! Wait!!! B4 that..

B4 a PnW, always check the sound. Dun assume that since the last PnW was okay. This PnW would be. Some jokers might have went to play with the PA set and well..when you start your PnW…you are gonna get a shock! BoOom! Making sure you know your songs and action is very impt cause the kids CAN tell if you are prepared anot.

OH! Dun forget to on your Mic. Haha. and when leading with 1 or more people. Dun oppose the other person. like if you were to start singing the verse and your partner starts with the chorus at the same time. Think b4 you say anything. Haha. and remember! When you are up on stage. MIRROR IMAGE! when doing actions. Their left is your right and vice versa. ~~sometimes~~ all the time. Leading action for PnW is not easy, actions with and without the mirror image is totally different. Which hand on top which hand below, which hand is suppose to do what, is ALL mixed up. Haha! and yes! If you dun learn it properly…u’ll end up like mi! I did half mirror image action and half normal actions. Haha! confused! Totally la. But heh! I had uncle david to help! THANKS YO! The choices of songs as well. Its impt! Dun choose songs that are totally new to you. At least listen to the song a few times and practice the actions.(mirror image remember? ). Songs chosen should not be all new songs to the kids as well..it’ll turn out like a concert. The kids would just stare.

For the PLMC camp that I went, we had no musician, so we lead PnW with CD music. Haha! oh! If you are using a CD to lead PnW, try to remember whats coming up. By that I mean…if the cd recording plays the verse 1, you are expected to know if the verse 2 comes up first or the chorus. This is so that you can tell say b4 hands to the kids “ You are my Lord! “ . this is also to prepare the kids. Sth on a side note. I realize that kids usually sing the chorus louder than the verse. I think this is cause well..the chorus of many songs are easier to catch than the verse. And of course! The chorus of many songs are usually higher in tone (key) compared to the verse. So its actually more audible. Well…back on track. If the CD recording plays the chorus a few times, you jolly well gotta know how mani times. Cause if you are the main lead and the mic you hold is the loudest right? Imagine if you sing wrongly!! GOSH!

Theres another thing here. on a side note. well…for my kids in church…they are a “crazy” bunch. In a good way. Really. Some times when I lead PnW, theres this really interesting thing that happened. THE KIDS LEAD ME in worship. What do I mean? Simple. Lets take an example. I was leading the song “ In whom I can trust”. So I was doing the sign language actions and all. We sang thru the chorus twice and I wanted to sing the verse again. I signaled my musicians and they started playing softer and the keys and all were leading to the verse.so I sang the last part of the chorus “the rock of my salvation, in whom I can trust. “…and than I heard “ You are my Lord , in whom I can trust. “ the kids were worshiping. Well. I cant stop them right? Haha. I think when the kids did that, my smart musicians ( Yvonne and Harold ) played the chorus for the kids again. I did’t sing. My my! The kid’s voice were so beautiful. So very nice. I think the Lord must have been pleased. We sang the chorus again and again. Think a total of abt 4 times. Haha! =P but this is not the first time it happened lar. When things liddat happens, dun insist on singing the verse! Well…unless its just 1 kid trying to be funny. Can tell 1.

Here here. I think that’s 1 main reason yyy I prefer leading with a band than the CD. Cause you are mainly in control. Not the CD player controlling you. Haha! =P I could go on and on abt PnW but..haha!

LESSON.

Yes yes. First thing I’d say is..PLEASE PLAN LESSON!!. =P not that I’ve seen a bad example from SU. But..i know of ppl that dun plan lesson and than GO TEACH. =O believe it anot, kids Can tell. They are ~~kinna~~ smart.

Oh! From SU, I’ve learnt a lot of thing. A lot I would say. They use this formular mostly when they teach

What is that? I’ll explain.

Log on.

This is the part where you can be AS CRAZY AS YOU LIKE. Really. Its to get the kids really interested in what you are abt to teach. =P for example. If you were to teach abt “ fishes of man”. You could prob do sth really dumb. Acting would be good. =P have a really funny story line that has abit of the lesson in it. =O believe it anot. It really helps as the kids would pay more attention in the lesson later.
Alternatively, you could also play a game of some sort. Well…in relation to the lesson of course.

Look in.

Here is where it gets intense. You gotta teach the kids the whole lesson, prob tell them the story from the bible, and explain it all to them. Oh! B4 this! Get the kids to go to the toilet first. And tell them that “ after this I am not gonna allow any1 to go toilet till I’ve finished” or you could say “ I wan every1 to go to the toilet.” Some kids might say they dun Here. “look in” would take abt 15-30 mins. To a normal teen its kinna okay. But for kids. THEY CANT EVEN SIT DOWN AND KEEP QUIET for a good 5 mins. Haha. that’s the real struggle. =S well… 1 way to catch a kid’s attention is to do sth that the kids like. For an example…balloons. You could be teling a story abt the armor of God. Than you suddenly take out a balloon and make a sword or sth. Well..this is course would get a lot of kids worked up. But! Especially for balloons, the kid that gets it would play with it. So….1 way to stop that is to onli do it towards the end of the lesson. Or maybe, for QnA as a prize.
Theres sth that SU taught mi than I thought was really useful. Instead of having onli 1 person talking and talking all the time, have 2 ppl up on stage. Than the kids can take turn focusing on them. 1 speaker to take 1 part. Or you could tell a story via a skit? Or even better, a puppet show.
Well well..all these being said. Its not easy actually. With another person on stage, you gotta know when to talk and when to shut. Its gonna be really “ funny” if the 2 ppl start talking at the same time. Than both realize and keep quiet, wondering if THE OTHER PERSON would like to speak first. Haha! =P so co-ordination is the key here. having a skit and puppet show would means tat man power is needed and prob a rehersal would too. Time! But all these actually takes the focus from the speaker and onto something else. For the kids..its really helpful. Imagine giving the kids a sermon of half an-hour. No jokes no skits no break. Plain speaking. Haha! imagines*

Learn it

LEARN! =P
Haha! this is really a very vexing part. You gotta make sure the kids understand the
“look in” and than to have them to learn and internalize it. =S
What I really mean is that….the kids might look like they were paying tons of attention and that they understand. But when you ask them a question…they dunno how to ans it. Happened a lot. So “learn it” is just to make sure that the kids really understand it.

The way SU does it is that they break the kids into their respective groups and than have them discuss. Write down what they learn on a piece of majong paper. Well….it’ll be good if each group has a leader to lead them. You dunno what the kids are really talking abt do you? =P HAHA!! “ ben 10!” “ Barbie dolls” =P

And than, each group gets a few mins to present to every1 what they have learnt and all. I really think this is cool. For example. We were teaching the lesson “ dun worry” and we asked the kids to write down what do they worry abt. For adults and teens..the top worry list might be “ no money, exams….” But for kids. Its different. They cant really relate to our fears. What they wrote on paper were things like “ darkness, no friends, A-H1N1….” So this is were the other kids night learn something too. =P after all..kids are the best taught..by kids! =P

Live out!

Alter call and the decision the kids make would be here. at the last part of the lesson. During the closing. =P haha! its when you are sure that the kids have learnt the lesson you want them to learn..understood the main points of the lesson..than this part comes in. its really for them to think and to make a stand. For example…” I’m not gonna worry cause I know that my God is able.” This kindda things lar. but in a worshipfull manner. Than some1 would lead the kids that raised their hands into a time of prayer. =P haha!!

GAMES!!

This is the part where…if the kids were to forget all they were taught during the camp..they’ll still remember this..GAMES!

Haha!! I’m sure all kids enjoy games. But which kinds?

Heres some pointers for games!! I know I can go on and on and on on on!

If you are having a mass game..its gonna be real messy. Have enough teachers to calm the kids down and to make them keep to the rules. =S now that impt. For games that involve screaming and all..you might find some kids standing up and running all over the place. Cause they are just too excited. =S oh! Also…mass games means that every1 should be involved right? Make sure of that. Dun have some kids sitting at the side and watching. =S
For groups games!
Make sure its not a solo thing. Where onli 1 kid can go at a time. For a long long time. For example…let mi execrate abit here. if you have a station for 2 groups, like a competition. where the kids take turn to run and than do 10 jumping jacks and than to do 10 push up and 10 sit up. Followed by reciting a memory verse and then ….bla bla bla..its not gonna work. Its prob gonna be fun for that kid that’s doing it. But! For the rest of the kids..its plain old waiting. Boring! You could have the kids to cheer for that 1 person doing it but! Its gonna last a really short while. Have sth like…captain’s ball or sth that would involve almost every1. You could have some sit out to be sub if there are uneven numbers. At least its better. =P
Oh! Kids love simple games. Like the “ egg chick chicken superman scissors paper stone” "do this do that" or " Simon says" . complicated games generally have more instruction and it would get the kids mixed up and all. If so…you’ll need a time to explain the rules of the game and make sure the kids understand. Oh! B4 each game! Make sure you go thru the instruction. Dun take for granted that the kids know. =P haha!

Like…I was giving out satay sticks for AnC…and I so almost went “ dun use the stick to POKE POKE POKE your friends huh! “. Haha! thank God I stopped! =P
Theres a reason you should not. Cause they dun have that idea yet! So they wun be poking their friends right? But once you say that. Than they would have that idea. And we all know that some kid dun take instruction that well. HmM…

Yes yes! I know I still can say somemore but! Haha!! I think I’ll look at this sometime next year or sth! =P anyway..haha!!

Sunday!

I woke up at an amazing time of 6.45am!! my gosh!! And did I mention? BETHLEEN did not sleep a wink! Lol!! too bad I was tired! If not…maybe I’ll stay up chatting with her! =P HAHA!! Retarded girl! =P

Haha! I woke the whole family up and rushed into the bathroom b4 any1 else hogs it! =O nananibubu! =P it was the last day if my toothbrush’s life cause I decided that..i did’t wanna bring the old 1 to camp! So I got a new 1 and it is resting somewhere in the lug! Haha! =O wait till it explores my mouth! MAHAHAH! =P anyway..after a lot of yelling by the Great me, my family left the house. 7.25. I had to FLY down to Serangoon stadium in 5 mins! That’s…to be on time! =P haha!! Gosh! =S my bro ~~drove~~ flew =P

Yes yes! You probability guessed. and you are right!! Aaron was late! =S so pai seh! =S I was scheduled to be in the bus that would be first to leave! And they were all waiting for mi!! LOL! GOSH! =S oh wells!! Or rather..i think that I reached in time just so that…I’m not left behind! =S haha! I met uncle david his wife, together with the PLMC’s children’s program in-charge! =P haha!! I did’t get scolded for being late! heng arh!! If I’m not wrong...uncle David was abit late too! YAY. Haha. So I got onto the bus! =P uncle David went to sit with his wife. So I was left alone! Good in a way! So I could put my stuff on the other seat and sit…happily! =P HAHA . went to the 2nd link! Haha!

The normal stuff..take all our stuff our and all..check passport! The person looked at my passport than suddently exclaimed “ WAH!! How come this guy look..SO HANDSOME! GOSH!! “ haha!! I bet he was jealous to the max!! I can so hear his thoughts! Heh! So there! he did’t give mi much problems! Other than a few question on “ why are you so ..so so …HANDSOME!?” . “oh! Its easy! Just erm…listen to your parents and…eat up all the veggies on your plate! “ haha! So there! what a weird guy!. Anyway…I pass! Haha! That proves it! I’m NOT mas selarmat!. Heh!

Than Malaysia check point was the same. Haha! I think Singapore’s check point is much more organized and..well..nicer! haha! The Malaysian too, ~~exclaimed at my handsome-ness~~ did’t give mi much problems. Gosh! Will these ppl ever understand? I am not handsome!! That’s like..insulting mi lar! =S lala! Right JINGRONG!! =-O

So there! than.. a long journey to yong peng! Haha!we had to change a bus! The bus was slightly smaller! So I had to sit with some1! Haha! Some1 I dunno. No problems! Aaron is friendly remember? =P haha!

Well…it was an old guy. Maybe ard 40+ 50? So he did’t talk much. Haha! I pulled back my chair and I was off! Lala land! =P I slept quite well…considering that.. I did’t catch much slp! And that I was texting ppl at like…5am? Haha! =P oh! Yes!! And on the bus..i was wondering if..bethleen had left her house at 5am ! Lol! =S

Finally! The bus pulled over and we reached yong peng! Haha! =P my my! Then I realize! I onli had a miserable..10 RM in my wallets. Sure I had like 200+ sing..but..HAHA! I’m in Malaysia! =S shoots! So I got myself a burger and a drink. That’s all I could affort. Darn! I felt poor lar ! so weird! HAHA. Sat with uncle david and his wife to eat. Than off again. A long journey! I must say..the food at yong peng..its like!! GOSH!! Izit even editable? Lala. Never-de-mind!

Back to the bus and off we went! =P HAHA!! I went back to lala land while the rest of the bus started to sing!! Or rather..i dunno what they were doing! Haha! I love my earphones! Haha! =P

Lala land was good! =P rest, I needed!

After we’ve reacher..than I realized..the PLMC church was too big!! 900 odd campers. I think the total number was..948? that’s A LOT! =S so they had to allocate us into 2 different hotel. It was just across the road so it was kinna fine. 1 was called marriot and the other, palm hotel. The SU team stayed at palm. =O

Both the hotels were 5 stars! Haha! Or maybe more? So HAHA! =P when we got our keys and stuff..it was like..4pm odd? I was to meet the rest of the team at 5pm at uncle david’s room. So off I went! To my room!! Haha! I realized that I was to share a room with this guy called Eugene! ={ but..he wasn’t here yet.haha! =P there were 2 beds there. 2 single! Haha! =P so being nice..i decided to let the other guy choose which 1 he wants! I placed my stuff on the floor and started using my mac! =P had some stuff that I needed to finish up. =S I used...till say abt 4.30pm? than I had a call! Haha! Some helper that was really helpful called to let mi know that Eugene was here and was already coming up. So I well..did nth! =P and cont to use my mac. =P

Ding DONG! The bell went. I opened it and there HE was. Haha! A teenager. “Heng lar! Not some uncle!” I thought. Haha! =P he seems well…I suppose he did’t know what to say lar. After a while..we started talking. Haha! he is 14 I think! And his cca is DANCE!! Lol!! COOL!

After that! I got to meet the team at uncle david’s room. 216! We cleared up some stuff for the night session and left for dinner. Dinner was at the palm garden. SUPER NICE!! Haha. the food there was served buffet style. But there are some ppl that were doing like…some special dishes. Theres the pork on a stick thingy. Dunno whats the name. haha! like ..it will spin than have to cut it 1. Super nice. Than there was smoked salmon!! SUPER NICE!! Haha!! I kept eating that lar! Haha! till I was quite full. Than the deserts! Haha! I onli ate 1 kinna desert! =P FRIED ICE-CREAM! Haha! they actually cooked it in font of me! Haha~! =P cause it was all wrapped up so they took it from the fridge and FRIED IT! =P wohoo. Super nice lar! I took like.ALOT! =P mahaha! Than when I was sick of the fried. I took plain sweet cold ICE-CREAM! Wohoo! Nice nice nice! =P so that’s more or less dinner. Aha!

The SU team was the last to leave the dinner place. Haha! uncle david can sure talk lar! HAHA! =P oh wells! But I guess its good. Lets the whole team know what the church expects and what the church usually does. Haha. next on the timetable was PnW and sermon. The initial plan was to stay for PnW, and after the PnW we were suppose to be introduced to the church. Haha! so that they know ~~which jokers~~ who were gonna take care of their kids. When we got the to hall, we were ushered to the FRONT seats. The first row. Gosh! Anointing lar! =S super stress. Haha! cause the church is super organized and we were “planned” by them to be there. HmM…anyway…I was kinna shocked at the church. they had a full band there. the full drum kit and a sound effect percussion. 2 guit, 1 bass and 2 keyboard. GOSH! And the number of amps there were like too many to count. AMAZED! Maybe that’s cause my church camp dun usually have the full set. Just a keyboard and erm…guit? LOL

So as I was walking..from the corner of my eyes..i saw this person…looking retarded. Real retarded. HmM…OH!! HEY BETHLEEN!! Haha! gosh!
What a small world huh! Haha =O and I was actually quite amazed that we could meet and even more amazed that…SHE LOOKED SO AWAKE!! Haha! some1 wasn’t suppose to have slept right? HAHA

I felt that the PnW was super good. Other than the musician and song leader being super good, I felt the presence of God there. that certainly set the mood for the next 3 days. oh yea!=P

Next..the PIC (pastor in charge) took over the mic and started giving his opening speech! Haha! =P hes quite a funny guy. Haha! =S then he suddently went “ and the people that are gonna be taking care of your kids…” wao! I got like a shock lar! Lol! they called the other team that was suppose to take care of the 0-5 YOs first, than they called “ Brother david and team..” HAHA! gosh! So I had to stand up and face the WHOLE church! Hmm…I did’t know the church looked so big lar! Lol! hmM..

They had games for the different groups after that. So the SU team just sat there and watched ! =P haha! than sermon and alter call. I thought that the sermon was good leh! =P HmM…maybe its cause the way he spoke is very different. =P and alter call was kinna…you had to go on stage if you are in front cause the hotel hall is quite small. lol

Aha! Met bethleen for awhile than went for supper. Haha! and after which..back to 216. We had to discuss what to do for the next day and all…haha. we agreed to meet at 216 again at 6am the next day. Haha! so off I went! Wohoo. Back to my room. The room was empty. Haha! I had thought that Eugene went off to his friend’s room and that he would be back later. Haha! I bathed and used the com for awhile than off to bed. Travelling is tiring business!

MONDAY!

=O i woke up cause of my alarm at 5 and I snoozed till 5.40? lol! Aaron!! I realized that…the room was empty! Other than mi! LOL . that GUY!! He left the room and went to his friend’s room to sleep. Together with all his luggage!!! Bathed and went to 216. I was late. as usual . and the rest of them were already in the mist of the devotion. Haha. =S uncle david was sharing. We ended off early and headed for breakfast. Haha! =P

Breakfast was at palm. But not the same place. It was at the back. Some funny place. Haha. not too many ppl knew that place I guess. We had to get directions from the children coordinator. Shes super nice lady. Haha! anyway…breakfast was okay. Its nice lar. But not as nice as dinner. cause different place I think. Haha! =S

Than…off to the children’s room. First time we’re seeing it. HAHA. gosh. Its not really what we expected. The room was LONG! But not big. Because of the way the room is…we had to use the room in a horizontal way. Weird! =S and because the floor was marked with masking tapes and all..the kids were given very little space to sit. GOSH! HmM…ah! We did’t bother abt it too much. I went to do up the sound system projector and also, some balloons to deco the place. Haha! it really nice I think. =P the projector the church provided has some problems with mac I think. Cause the colours coming outta it wa abit off. Green background would become black. =S HAHA! so I went to remove all the background. After all..the more impt things were the lyrics, not the background. =P

BALLOONS!! nice right! haha! onli when they dun go POP!

The first PnW was done by eeling. Haha! she’s 21 I think. My gosh! She is super good can!??! Haha! she had the kid’s attention in less than a sec and started teaching song. Haha! lucky theres no1 else to do PA cause if not..i would have been choosen to do it. =S HmM..the sound system at the hotel started giving some problem in the middle. =S I think the "photom" power of the PA set was unstable or sth. Cause it would cut off as and when it likes. So I had to go over to correct it and all. I realized that the person from the hotel DUN KNOW ANYTHING ABT PA AT ALL. Maybe just kow how to on the PA set. =S HmM…the EQ was all off and the echo was coming in like mad.HAHA! the DI box was set to an amazing +20 DB (thats quite a high signal! ) and thus, the buzzing sound was feeding into the speakers like…MY GOSH. Haha! =S and I had to reset it all over again. I just did it in the morning mind you! LOL. HmM..so there there. haha! I’m glad I took up PA training in church. haha =P

Teaching was done by uncle david. =P I must say…I think his teaching style and aunty cindy’s is super different. He is the cuter and funier version. He tends to act like a kid and ask some weird and funny question for the kids to ans. Haha! its good in a way…I guess? Haha! btw…aunty cindy is more firm and she teaches with a lot of authority . my gosh! Anyway…i got so inspired just by looking at him teach lar. Haha. =O ONE DAY I’ll be better than him at teaching God’s words to kids. Haha! =P one fine day! If God willing!

Lunch was at the marriot. Oh! Btw, the children’s room is at the marriot too. Haha! oh! I did mention that PLMC is super organized right? HAHA! =S i was assign a table to eat at. Haha! and..the table was labeled…” speakers” . haha! gosh! Every1 BIG SHOT was there. like the PIC and the invited pastors that were speaking at the camp. It was right at the entrance of the eating place so every1 could see us when they turned in. =S HmM…STRESS was i! =S

The food was good! Haha! =P
My my! A five star hotel it was! =S haha! so while I was eating..the people walking pass the table all said “ hi” or sth. Haha! hmM…stress!!

I realized that I had left my mac in the children’s room and I had to go get it cause it is not locked! Haha! =S anyway..i had finished my lunch. So I went to get it. It was still there. thank God and so I was walking up..i was this very familiar figure. Haha! it was quite far but I could…as i..i knew that I know that person. Haha! =S I was “ HmM..could it be?..” “ oh! This IS PLMC huh..” haha. and so it was. Vic . Haha! I was kinna shocked to see her there. haha =O haven seen her in a long long time. =S she kinna still looks the same. Maybe abit taller? Haha! abit prettier? =P haha. I did’t chat with her for long cause I had to return to the table and that the SU team needed to go back to 216 to do a small debrief and to talk abt the night session. Aww! =S

At 216! It was in the plan for mi to do doing the next PnW session and that aunty hui lai else was to do the teaching. Haha! =S so after while. I went back to my room and started preparing for the PnW. Haha!

Haha! woke up at an amazing late time. I have a feeling that the rest of the team too cause when I arrived..they did’t seem like they started anymore than 5 mins ago! =P so I was saved!

Breakfast than erm..lets see…there was egg bacon and ham. I was still so full from the gala night la! =S oh gosh! Oh!! And orange juice.

Yes yes!! Sat! so I was home. Guess what I did first!? HAHA!! you wun believe it cause I cant too. I went to WASH CLOTHS. Lol!! What on earth right!?! So there!! I unpacked and the dirty cloths went stright to the washing machine! =S

What happened to aaron?!?! Kay!! Wanna know why? Cause I’ll be off for 2 camps starting from Sunday and yes!! I got no more nice cloths to wear! Haha! =S what a joke. So there! While the cloths were in the wash, I went to bath, than went to my comfy bed to rest! LOL! No! I did not fall asleep like how I usually do! Instead, I woke up cause I set an alarm for 15 mins. Haha! =S the washing was done and I’ll have to hang up the cloths =S gosh! Tiring!

So I had this really cool idea! =P I took out my jacket ( cause its thicker and it takes longer to dry. I love my jacket.) and hung it up. Than, I left the washing machine’s lid open and went to slp! Haha! good idea huh! At least it would dry abit. haha! =P oh wells. I slept at like 3!? And I woke up at like…7 plus!? Just to hang the cloths! Haha! gosh! Than to lala land I went again. =P haha!! I love my bed! I woke up again at 10 plus. Haha! had tuition. Wao! This is 1 time I really dreaded tuition. I had to drag my feets outta the house lo! So super tired! =S but heh! It was good. I decided that since the hard and soft way did’t work with the boy, I’d just relax and let him learn at his own pace. Haha! =P it worked well and that 2 hours soon went by. I did’t have to raise my voice. Nono!! Rephrase! I did’t wanna raise my voice. So I kept telling him “ I dun wanna raise my voice today. But, whats this?! You really love the feeling of me screaming at you huh? “ haha! =P yes yes! Part of the reason was that I was tired and also, I wanted to save my voice for my upcoming camps! =P

Heres esp 2 of “ The day at tuition” We ( he ) were learning how to solve algebra on fractions. The question was sth like X/4 + 2X/ 5 + 6 = 1 He copied X/4 + 2X/ 5 + 6 = 1 And than it became X/3 + 2X/5 = 1 + 6 And than it cont to become X/3 + X/5 = 7 Haha! =S So there!! I did’t know to lauff or to scream! =S So I told him that he had many careless mistake and it was sth that he has done many time, and I even told him just a few mins ago. So his corrections. First, he coppied the question X/4 + 2X/ 5 + 6 = 1 And than he looked back and realize that he had to “ minus on both sides” or “ bring the plus 6 over to the RHS” so… X/3 + 2X/5 = 1 – 6 By then…I was going MAD!! Haha! yes! That’s the word! But I kept my cool and still did not raise my voice. Haha. =S so there!

In the end I told him “ you wanna piss mi off izit? “ check your work! ~~And with that..his brains starting working, puffs and puffs of smoke came outta his temples, i wish!~~ =S and than…he suddently came to his senses and did the right thing! Haha! and all this happened in 5 mins! =S gosh! Gotta tell mi why he can do it but….its either he is lazy to think or that his brains works in spasm. =S haha!!

after I got my hard earned 50 dollars, I left the house and headed home! Haha! =P rest!! I need!! Haha! nth much happened at home actually. Haha! =O oh!! Have!! Finally!! I see bethleen online! HAHA! chatted with her! =P shes actually quite nice to chat with!

I cycled to church. Haha. cause my bro wasn’t ard and I dun have a driving license yet! =S gah! But heh! I realized that I needed exercise! Haha! =S haven been exercising for ages! Gosh! And now I cycle so slow!! I tried to speed up to abt 35km/H. I died after 10 mins! Haha! well done aaron. 5 more mins to cycle b4 reaching church. Haha! I was to meet jing rong at 5 in church. Lol! But due to a road work and stuff, I had to wait for this traffic light …and cause I cycled slow…I was late for 15 mins! =S shoots!! SRY!!

So we decided to go to the old roxy. =P Jem’s fav place. So I called jem and true enough, he was heading there. Haha! =P of course! JR and I reached there first and when Jem came, I did what I usually do. I went to grab his hand and started acting retarded. “ JEM JEM JEM!!” haha! but guess what!! 1st June!
HmM..let me see! Oh yes!! for most it would be the first day of holiday! for most of the people in SP, it was NOT. haha! but heh! for Aaron it was. I decided that since I was tired and that theres a test in which I’d do badly/fail if I did today, I went ahead to SLP! Than to the polyclinics to get myself a nice MC. haha! =P yea! so there there.

gosh! Since I had a LITTLE flu, I was sent to the H1N1 clinic. And boy! I was glad to be sent there. Sounds weird huh! Cause there was so many ppl at the clinic! its a monday! what do you expect aaron? so yea! the H1N1 clinic had much less ppl. I had my screen done and medicine taken in less than an hour. ahah! AMAZING! haha! so there there. =P

Than I had this really funny idea. Since I am so free today, I’m gonna cook a pot of soup! HAHA! YEA! I think I am mad! but oh wells! haha!! so off I went to the NTUC. first, I looked ard for this really weird smell Chinese thing called "szechun". They only had it in the packet form. or rather. I could onli find it in the packet form. DUN LIKE!! haha!!

So I went to sheng song. haha! there there! just what I wanted! WoHoO! =P I looked ard and went to buy some stuff. haha! First the szechun, than some potatoes and garlic, than at last, a small 3 dollar whole chicken. wohoo!! and I paid for it. well..it wast too expensive I suppose. haha! Aaron's first time cooking! LALA! =P hus gonna try!? LOL
so after tha, I went home! haha! than my dad! gosh! he suddenly felt like gonna buy a fan! haha!! I guess its cause well...his room ceiling fan broke a while ago and he has been surviving on this standing fat. Than, the standing fan broke yesterday! HAHA!! so he had to slp 1 night without fan.HAHA!! he must have found out how hot Singapore was! HAHA! So he turn on the air com to slp. LOL! Smart eh! =P

so there!! I had to rush my soup! HAHA! First, to boil the szechun. haha! it not it''ll be too salty. Than, in the mean time, peel the garlic and the potato! HAHA!! my bro did the garlic and I did the potato! I couldn’t find the potato peeler so I had to use a knife! HAHA! than my dad walked in, GAH!! Terrible I tell you!! he was like " teaching " me how to use the knife and all cause he say I peel too much of the potato together with the skin and all. IRRITATING oh wells.. Haha.
i than emptied the pot which has the first boils of the sze chun and than reboiled it. haha! but yea! I took the sze chun and but it up good first. than..in the mean time..I had to find a way to CUT up this frozen chicken which proved to be...impossible. haha! so chopped it up as well as I can. than, into the pot it went. haha! =P together with the potato and the garlic. haha! there! soup!

i had to wait for abt 5 mins for the water to boil and another 15 mis after the water/soup boiled to transfer it to the slow cooker. haha =P there! my job was done. soup made in 40 mins! haha! off I went to shop with my dad and than to eat. I was grumbling all the way cause my bro and me had a haircut arranged at 1pm. gah! and it was like...12 odd? we'll never make it on time. haha! than my dad brought us to the fan shop and we walked ard. actually just my dad. he LOVES to waste time lo! =S than we stood in the shop for a good 15 mins. my dad was walking us ard ( not with leashes and stuff.. but...) and he was explaining everything there. as if he was the owner. haha! =P but heh! it was good I suppose. there are some electrical stuff there that I learn in school too. Haha so there. Haha! than we had to rush lunch! My my!! Than rush to the mrt to rush to have our hair cut! Rush lar! =S oh well..we were later for a good 20 mins! =S

Than it was PnW and sermon. Wao! I felt that PnW was good. Not just the music and all but it was…I dunno how to say. I know in my heart that God was there and that he delighted in our PnW to him. An awesome place to be. PnW for the rest of the PPTTC was liddat. If not, better. Haha! than sermon! Haha! =P
It was this Chinese lady, who was andrea’s piano teacher, who came to share her testimonies and to teach us abt “worship” . she is really fab! Too nice and too fab to be a piano teacher I suppose! Haha! =S oh wells…she is this lady CRAZY for
God. She would get up and pray in the wee hours of the morning just to pray. Haha! how may of us can really say that we too, can. Theres this once b4 she went to slp, she prayed, as usual, and the holy sprit touched her and she was motivated to sing. She did’t know what to sing and so she started to write out lyrics. But first, she search for paper and pen , IN THE DARK. Madness huh! After she wrote all the lyrics, she ON THE LIGHTS! LOL! Than she had to put some music to the lyrics. By the time she was done and all, it was 9am I think! !? lol1 I have STM remember? and because she was teaching in chinese, JAMES had to Interpret . Haha! so there!
Learnt a lot from her I suppose. Haha! than I headed home haha! =S had a project to rush! =S
I think I slept on my mac. LOL! Beside maybe. Than I woke up and walked over to the bed and fell asleep. Haha!
my brains were screaming " AARON!! GO FINISH YOUR PROJECT B4 YOU SLEEP!"
but my body thought otherwise.

I went home to slp the day b4 right? So I woke up at home!! Haha
Where else huh?
After which, I went to rush project again. Its like never ending lar! =S
Never ending it is. So I did all the way till 10 plus and I decided to head over to church. I’ll still have to meet my group mates for project discussion later. Haha. so off I went to church and I sat in for the last bit of sermon. I think that james can really teach lo! Kay! So after that was lunch. Haha! I did’t wana eat cause I wasn’t hungry! Haha! so I stared at my band eating while I talked to some1. I forgot hu! SRY! Haha!!
After that I left church for school. Wah! Dreaded it lo! =S
I decided to take 196 all the way to school cause it was HOT like mad and I wanted air-con all the way. Haha! so journeyed alone. Haha! sian!
I was suppose to meet xu jing for lunch. Haha! that smart girl. Talked mi into treating her ice-cream. But cause there was a jam and that I did’t have her number arh, I took super long to find her at the school lib. I met her an hour late. Like 3?? So could’t have lunch with her. I was starving lar! =S haha! and guess what!! I still owe her ice-cream! =S oh wells…
We started out project meting at ard 3 plus and ….we did and did and did…till like 8+ 9? And we got KICKED OUT of the school lib cause they were gonna close. And we were still not done lar! =S
Oh wells…than I made my way back to church. Such a lousy day. =S

Thursday!
Cant remember much. I woke up in church and after breakfast and sermon by james I left for school. This time, I had company! Haha! KASIA! =O she is super funny lar. Well..not funny funny…but its fun talking to her. Esp on a boring bus ride. Haha! he too had to go to school and so we planned to leave for school together! Haha! =P
I had my project presentation today! Haha! I wore jeans and t-shirt! Wao! I actually looked formal. Kinna. =S
Presentation was screwed up! =S I think. Haha!
Heres the comment on me – “ The way you talk is very funny. You tak very fast than suddently very slow. The audience cant really catch up with you. “ than a lot more…haha
Oh oh oh!! Than heres this really intresting thing. Haha!! the teacher said that our presentation slides were PERFECT. Wao!! And to think that we all rushed like mad. Alex YOU ROCK MAN! =P

After that I left and went to meet kaisa. Gonna head back to church! Haha!
oOo!! We totally missed band time and games. Back in time for dinner? Haha! and than sermon. James taught and yes! I think he did a great job! Haha!

I woke up a 6+ MY GOSH! Haha!! terrible! I need my handsome sleep!
Anyway…i was at church and yea..PPTTC. LOL! Nth much happened that I remembered. I just know that God touched me during PnW. Haha! heres the interesting thing. PnW was at 10 plus and if you look at my last post, I was suppose to be at school doing a presentation! Haha! but thanks to God, I was able to be at church and to be in PnW. Amazing huh! =P
So there there. The PPTTC performance I did’t play cause I was too lousy! Haha!
